“You could ride your ass off and get 10 minutes but you lose 20 or 30 in the run.” That was a quote from Lance Armstrong in an interview yesterday posted on Outside Magazine Blog. Looks like he wants to try an Ironman! Good advice from one of the worlds top cyclists. Its not just about the bike after all!
Calgary 70.3: This was quite a day for the athletes AND all the TTL volunteers who manned the first aid station on the bike. THANK YOU to all of you who gave up your day to support our athletes and all the others who tackled this challenging course. We showed that as a team, we race, we cheer, AND we give back. I was very proud to be a part of that. So... what about the athletes...
Hey Folks... I'm going to do something different here. With permission, I'm going to put down the words of the athletes whenever I can to describe their day. It might take a bit longer to read than usual, but we had a very busy weekend. So... here we go... you might want to grab a cup of tea. This reads like a book!
Hey TTL... it has been a REALLY busy few weeks. I have to say I'm pretty tuckered but also thrilled at how our team is coming along. So... what's the latest...
Hey TTL... I've been a busy beaver on the computer today. I'm slowly getting caught up after our 4 day weekend of volleyball in Abbotsford. So... what's been happening... ......
Hey Team Tri Life… A lot of TTL athletes have raced in the last little bit! This is my late (not a surprise for you I’m sure) but none the less exciting race update! This is a LONG one… sorry
So… What’s been happening? I’ll start with our first triathlon result of the year. (I guess second if you count my race in California!
Wow... what a few weeks Team Tri Life has had! We have been racing fools. A few people have had great days; some others didn't quite meet their goals, but lessons were learned in these early season races. So... how did it go... (This is long... I'm hoping you can take the time to read it:)
