Hey TTL... I'm catching up on emails. It's been a busy weekend. First of all, a HUGE congratulations to our Team Tri Life Ironman Athletes AND all the TTL athletes and families who volunteered and cheered all day long. It was an emotional day with so many highs and a few lows. Our team was a family with updates flying over text all day long... An OVER THE TOP DAY!!!!! I know you've been getting the race updates... THANK YOU to all of you who are taking the time to write them. We all learn and are motivated by your experiences. So much...
Richelle and I made a decision today that I need to change how I do race updates. I'm always so worried I will miss people, and the updates get quite long. I'm going to try just giving the highlights and see how it goes. The other thing I would very much like to do, however, is to put a link to your blogs for those of you who have them on the TTL website. It is a personal choice of course, if you want the link up... but if you do we will add it!
So... to add your blog to the TTL athlete blog link please email Ken at kja63@telus.net and he'll get it started. So many of you are wonderful at updating your stories... it's a far better tribute to your commitment to the sport than I am capable of writing. We'll see how this goes anyway!
The other thing I'm hoping you will all consider doing is posting your race reports on the forum on our website. It's a great place for you to share with each other. If you need a new log in or need to re-log in because you forgot your password email Ken. He'll get you figured out.
Now... a few congratulations... Some are way overdue, and I'm very sure I will miss some, so PLEASE be patient with me! If I miss you please email me and I'll send a revision.
